I honestly didn't expect to like Heartstopper as much as I did - the preview didn't even draw me in, and as I get older, the farther I get from those Young Adult feelings and enjoying teenage drama.
But honestly - this show is so pure. It doesn't even feel like a coming out story. It feels real, and raw, and sweet. It was relatable, and the actors did a great job. Bonus points for casting a trans actress for the trans character!
Also! Don't forget Heartstopper is a Graphic Novel as well!
