Jayli J: Do you ever have moments when you forget that you have come out?
Actually, the opposite. I usually forget that I haven't come out to someone, and then I say something and I have to backtrack and be like "Oh, uh, yeah, I'm gay. Have I not mentioned that?" Thankfully it hasn't ended up bad yet.
Adam W: Will you travel again ala London but to another City/Country that is very LGBTQ+ and gain inspiration/take in the culture for a new book?
I would love to travel again for the chance to write a book like I did Just Juliet. I got that chance after college, before I had a job or a life, so I'm not sure I'll be able to do it again. But I know my girlfriend would love to do it to, money blessings waiting.
Jay K: What kind of cats do you have?
I wish that I could say I'm the kind of person who rescues kitties and adopts and is wonderful, but I'm not. I'm a very picky pet owner, theres a reason why I don't have kids lol, so my cats were purchased. We have two Persians. Allie, who is my baby I've had since I was 13, and my girlfriends kitten, Perci.
LaDonna VH: Authentic is hard! What was the first time you remember being compelled to share? Fictional or not?
Oh man, there are so many things that I have been authentic about within my life. I'm thankful that I've always been an honest person - my mama raised me well - so I have a lot more trouble being inauthentic. And with fiction, it just came easily. Especially with Just Juliet and Loving Lakyn, I just knew that there were things I wanted to say. That I felt needed to be said. So I guess that would be the first time.
