I wasn't actually going to read this one because it's not really my style - and I picked it up and put it down a few times in the first few pages because Alex has a vocabulary that far surpasses my own and I wasn't a huge fan of Henry (which really says a lot about how well McQuiston wrote Alex) but anyway.

The fiance and I have been making it a goal to read LGBTQ books with each other, and she started listening to the audiobook when I started throwing a fit, and she said it was so funny it caught my interest, so we tried it again. And omg am I so happy I did. Alex is a blessing. There's a woman president. And Henry, oh Henry, I love him so much. This one might end up on the tattoo sleeve, we'll see.

I highly recommenced it for anyone who wants gay relationships, a minimal coming out storyline, bisexual rep, mexican-american biracial rep, and a break from YA lit because sometimes we just need some 20 year olds in our lives.

Also I enjoyed this so much I read it faster than my fiance and didn't admit it to her until later. I also couldn't keep up with my live tweet session of it because I was having too good a time.
